This is a chalk painting on a section of sidewalk six by five foot square (roughly a square). It lasted and could be seen for about 3 days, before the elements and people's feet took care of it. It appeared on the front page of the Bellingham Herald in August of 1994. The image at left is only part of the whole and is the best photograph that was obtained from the original.
George Perez is a concept artist and illustrator. While in college, he took art courses leading to a certificate in Commercial Art. Apart from that, he is a totally self-taught artist; basically he contemplates a subject and attempts to render it artistically. He can work in all art media. He prefers portraying animals and nature scenes and enjoys reproducing Classic Paintings--for instance, refer to his "The Master's Cat" collection right here in this webpage. George would be happy to do commission artwork, just reach out and let him know what you have in mind.
