Hi Richard, thank you for the great suggestion for making a large painting surface. Can't wait to try it out!

If you are interested buy a new bed sheet 200 to 250 thread count that is 50 percent cotton. Now you will need a sheet of plywood as your drawing board. I feel that you like to paint large pieces, so the size is up to you. On top of the plywood you'll need to place a matt board, or whatever to make a smooth surface. Now cut the bed sheet to size allowing some inches for stretching it as tight as you can get it over the plywood. You now have a canvas to do your sidewalk chalk creation on, and you can also use soft pastels, and water colors. Actually, I have used some acrylics as well. To set the chalk, and pastel, use simple hair spray. On most of my originals I use a water spray and actually do some finger painting which is a blast. It's up to you, but if you try it, every kid around will want to learn from you which is the best part, and that I have enjoyed the most.
