Aristotle had a great cat that he loved very much and she loved him too. He named her Calliope, after the Greek Muse, because whenever he was doing his work and the cat was nearby, which was most of the time, Aristotle was inspired and felt clarity of mind and a great desire to write, philosophize or whatever. My beloved kitty Lulu graciously posed for this painting!
*Sadly, Lulu died on 5/27/17. She contracted a sarcoma from a rotten vaccine that she received at the vet's, so think twice before you take your loved cats to the vet for vaccinations :(
George Perez is a concept artist and illustrator. While in college, he took art courses leading to a certificate in Commercial Art. Apart from that, he is a totally self-taught artist; basically he contemplates a subject and attempts to render it artistically. He can work in all art media. He prefers portraying animals and nature scenes and enjoys reproducing Classic Paintings--for instance, refer to his "The Master's Cat" collection right here in this webpage.
