When Paul Gauguin visited Polynesia during the latter part of the 19th Century, he was dismayed by all the cats there. Especially in Tahiti, women walked around carrying cats on their bosoms and appeared to be offering the cats to him. Paul was fascinated by the bare-chested natives but his aversion to cats would not permit him to get close to the girls. Finally, unable to contain his admiration (his lust?) any longer, he decided to paint these two beauties...but only if they consented to put down the darn cat and pick up a plate of fruit (or was it a water melon?). This here painting, then, is the way that Gauguin "should have" portrayed the Polynesian girls. Have a great day!
BTW the little kitty with the awesome eyes was my neighbor's cat Serian (not sure if that was the right spelling of the name).

George would be happy to do commission artwork, just reach out and let him know what you have in mind.
